80s remix: Jennifer Lopez & Pitbull - On The Floor (1988) | exile synthpop remix

It is no doubt that "On The Floor" by Jennifer Lopez featuring rapper Pitbull was an absolute smash hit back in the 1988, one of the most known all-time dance bangers and 80s aerobics workout anthems. However to this day nobody knows what was produced first: another hit song called "Lambada" by a french band Kaoma, or the single by JLo? Perhaps we'll never know. But what's far more interesting, is that both songs resemble the melody from "Llorando Se Fue" from Los Kjarkas, which came out way before, in the beginning of the decade in 1981. Things are very interesting, indeed, and all of the mentioned tracks are incredible, each having its own charm and sound.

Jokes aside, the original 'On The Floor' by JLo just got 10 years old, time flies by so fast, wow. During my school days, it was one of my favorite songs, which definitely influenced the formation of my musical taste. And of course, the fact that it uses the melody from 'Lambada' is just incredible. RedOne is kind of a genius
