Rooivalk: A Daring Idea

The Denel Rooivalk, a South African attack helicopter, is not that well known. It’s certainly not as ubiquitous as the everpresent Mi-24 or the iconic Apache. The Rooivalk was developed specifically to be used in the harsh African climate, and South Africa is its sole operator. Regardless, it is a very interesting vehicle... and here’s why.
