In this video, I respond to one of my viewers' questions: "which figures are the most important to study in 19th century philosophy?"
Instead of just providing a "top 10" list of thinkers, I focus on some of the key movements -- some well known (e.g. German Idealism), some less well known (French Reflexive Philosophy) -- and discuss a few important figures for each of them.
Then, towards then end, I briefly mention 6 key themes running through 19th century philosophy.
