International Illusion Artiste J C Sum's original mega illusion "The Aerial Exit".
5 spectators vanish while elevated 24ft high up in the air in front of over a thousand people at the Asian Civilizations Museum.
The mega illusion was the grand finale of the "Explore Singapore! 2010" campaign presented by the National Heritage Board.
For more than two decades, J C Sum (now retired) was one of the top professional illusionists in Asia. His extensive international experience included performing for corporate & special events, luxury cruise liners, theatres, showrooms and television. He was also a producer and director for numerous shows, special events and TV projects.
From 1993 – 2019, J C performed over 3500 shows in 34 countries on 4 continents. More than 120 million people have seen his magic on live shows & television with appearances on 27 programs globally.
J C’s work and celebrity were recognized by both the regional Asian mainstream media and the international magic trade media. The Straits Times called him “Singapore’s Most Famous Magician”. He was acknowledged as “one of the most celebrated magicians in Asia” by Asia One and Magicseen Magazine hailed him as “truly one of the world’s top illusion acts”.
