Today in the pool, we caught Miss Violet swimming. At first, we thought it was likely she’d fallen in. Ecstatic nonetheless, that she was confidently swimming towards the exit. That is all we’ve ever wanted for her. To be able to save herself if she fell in.

But we soon realised, there was more to it than it simply being an accident.

Usually she is asleep on the sun beds with her sister. But today, she was on the ramps along with the rest of the pack eager to jump in along with them after the toys.

After getting a push one time by some of the doggies, Miss Violet made the launch all by herself and gee … I was as happy and excited as I was that time seeing Zac do it for himself the first time.

This is such a big thing for Miss Violet.

From her beginnings, at one stage struggling to walk in a straight line. She’s now swimming in the pool after a toy along with the pack.

What can she not do??

We also opened some parcels from some very generous and thoughtful followers. Thank you so very much. We have been a little behind, I’m sorry. But we’re catching up.

After a swim, we dry off in the sunshine and feed the animals before it’s dinner time.
