That’s a wrap on the 2015 MTV Movie Awards! What’s up you guys, you’re back at Clevver’s Trophy Life where we’re breaking down all your favorite stars who scored one of those famous golden popcorn statues during the night’s festivities.
First things first — it’s safe to say the 2015 MTV Movie Awards belonged to our girl Shailene Woodley. Not only did she win for Best Female Performance for The Fault In Our Stars, but that movie also helped her snag Best Kiss, alongside her co-star Ansel Elgort, who unfortunately wasn’t there. Womp womp. However, one of her other on-screen loves was there to present her with the Trailblazer Award, so there’s that.
On top of the Trailblazer Award, there were other big awards handed out — Robert Downey Jr. won the Generation Award, while Kevin Hart won the Comedic Genius Award.
Moving along, we have Jennifer Lopez who won Best Scared as Sh*t performance thanks to her role in The Boy Next Door. All hail J-Lo, right?
From scary to funny, Channing Tatum was victorious in the Best Comedic Performance for his role in 22 Jump Street. And very well deserved if you ask us!
Speaking of well deserved, Zac Efron and Dave Franco scored a golden popcorn for Best On Screen Duo thanks to their epic team work in Neighbors. The only thing that was better than their performance in the movie? Their hilarious on stage hijinks when they won!
As for Best Male Performance? That went to Bradley Cooper for American Sniper. And, really, who needs an Oscar when you’ve got a golden popcorn, right?
Another award worth mentioning, even though they didn’t announce the winner during the broadcast —was for Best Hero, which went to one of our faves here at Clevver — Dylan O’Brien for The Maze Runner.
And last but certainly not least Best Movie! Again, just further proof that the night was all about Shailene Woodley, The Fault In Our Stars was the night’s big winner.
