In this episode of the Running Raw Project: Tim talks about his current training load and the perils of over training. The key to success in running and in other sports is training smarter, not just harder. The body gets stronger and adapts to training stress during the recovery and not during the training itself. If you do not allow for adequate recovery between your workouts, you can easily slide into a state of over training and decreasing performance.

The challenge, is riding the fine line between over training and training to win. If you want to compete at an elite level as a runner you must train just below this threshold. Tim offers up some tips in this video on how to run at your best without running yourself into the ground.
