The Citizen Chronomaster AQ4041-54L: The Dial In Various Light Conditions

This is the Chronomaster AQ4041-54L from Citizen. It is a JDM watch, marketed as The Citizen, and it uses the high accuracy quartz A060 movement. It is rated for +/- 5 seconds per year, it has a 4 year leap year calendar, it has solar charging, and the case and bracelet are titanium with Duratect protection.
For my wrist size (200mm or around 7.8 inches) one link was removed. In this configuration it weighs 77g. The bracelet lug width appears to be 19mm with a taper at the clasp of 17mm. Because this bracelet drapes down at the lugs, this could fit some smaller wrists (46mm wrist width or greater).
In order to adequately describe what it looks like to wear this watch I have put together several clips that present the watch under different light conditions.
No, this is not one of the washi paper dials. I couldn’t find one of those whose design I could completely enjoy. The sunburst blue dial is pleasing to look at and it contrasts beautifully with the applied markers, although it is quite flashy. However, the blue is sometimes betrayed by a purple-grey that is light reflecting back from the solar layer. In other words, this isn’t the purest blue dial, and a non-solar watch would withstand more scrutiny. The Citizen logo is applied, while the Chronomaster word mark is printed.
Also noteworthy is that, although there are polished surfaces, it does not have a mirror finish. Reflections are distorted. I have a Grand Seiko and I can tell the difference in the finishing.
As the last video clip shows, recursive light rings can appear in the crystal under certain conditions. This was nearing dusk, so the sun was entering the dome crystal from the side, reflecting light off the rehaut.
I have to acknowledge @AChannelAboutWatches for initially attracting my interest in this model range.
