Resize the taskbar icons in Windows 10 - is what we look at in this video. This video will guide you through the process, step by step, on how to change taskbar icons size in Windows 10. It's easy to do.
This is one of a number of Windows 10 taskbar customization videos that we have made. A Lenovo Legion T530-28ICB Windows PC was used in making this video.
Windows 10 PC users normally have their regularly used apps / programs pinned to the taskbar. However, this may be a good number of icons which may require scrolling on the taskbar, if located on the sides of the screen, which is not ideal and can impact productivity. The problem becomes more acute if the taskbar and it's icons are located on the right or left hand side of the Windows PC desktop. This because there is less space than if the taskbar was on the bottom or top of the screen. Having all the icons on the taskbar 'at a glance' is much better & has less impact on productivity.

So we show you how to make taskbar icons smaller windows 10.
✅ OVERVIEW 0:00
✅ STEP 1 - SEARCH TASKBAR SETTINGS OPTION 🕖 0:40
In order to find your taskbar settings, this can be found by clicking the search magnifying glass located on your taskbar. This may be bottom left of the screen if the taskbar is located on the bottom of your Windows 10 desktop. Type in the search box 'taskbar'. An option 'taskbar settings' should appear to the top right of the search box as shown in the video.
✅ STEP 2 - GO TO TASKBAR SETTINGS 🕖 1:04
Click 'taskbar settings' option to the top right of search box. This will open the taskbar settings menu.
✅ STEP 3 - SELECT 'USE SMALL TASKBAR BUTTONS' 🕖 1:07
Move the mouse icon further down the page and under the option 'use small taskbar buttons' toggle this to 'ON'. You can toggle ON / OFF to change taskbar icons size.
You should have now been able to successfully resize the taskbar icons on your Windows 10 PC / computer / laptop.
