Color scheme or color fill legend Color codes the model to convey a message or relationship between departments or areas or objects . This is an effort to pass along a message visually for better communication with the end-user - with this you can avoid filled-Region. Color Schemes can be added to plans & section views to connect relationships between zones, departments, or areas in the model. Color fill Legend or Color scheme can be added to areas, spaces, ducts, pipes, zones. The process is that Revit utilizes parameters from these elements to apply the color and fill based on the parameter values.
