It's a windy day in Miami Beach, Florida. We're making our way down the famed Ocean Drive, home to the pastel buildings of the Art Deco Historic District. Even with the overcast weather, Miami Beach is still in the upper 70s Fahrenheit and alive with music and people. You'll get a glimpse of that as we head south along Ocean Drive, and loop back up the South Beach boardwalk. Along the way, we'll hit a handful of landmarks, including the Rainbow Crosswalk, Palace Bar and its drag shows, and Muscle Beach. We'll walk South Beach specifically in another video, so subscribe to know when it goes live.
For those looking to visit Miami Beach, there are several hotels along Ocean Drive, but the pricing is expensive. Many are $300-$400 a night, and while parking is available, it's usually not at the hotel and not free. There are parking garages all over, that cost $35+ a night.
If you're here for a cruise via Port Miami (the largest cruise port in the world), staying in Miami Beach is a great location to stay at a night or two before (cost notwithstanding).
