Making a Barbie Movie Closet Cosplay Dress using Simplicity 9291

Making the pink gingham dress from the  barbie movie (or close enough). I chose this pattern for the 50s/ rockabilly inspired silhouette featuring a heavily gathered skirt and princess seams. I might call this suitable for an advanced beginner (princess seams required a little extra concentration) but was a straightforward construction. This Dress was worn to GenCon.
