Hello! In today's video you are going to see "Basic Strokes and the difference between the "CURSIVE WRITING AND CALLIGRAPHY".How to hand letter?

Now coming back to the point, There are five main differences:
1. Cursive is about writing continuously and efficiently (you rarely pick up your pen), where as in calligraphy you need to pick up your pen after every stroke.
2. Cursive is simple to write , it's about writing quickly and efficiently,which also looks beautiful in a whole. In contrast, calligraphy is usually detailed and difficult to write,need lot of practicing.
3. Cursive letters always connect to each other while in Calligraphy, doesn't have to connect. There are broad-nib calligraphy styles (like uncial script,ancient calligraphy) that don't connect at all!
4. Calligraphy is a discipline, while cursive is a skill.
5.Cursive is usually associated with everyday handwriting while Calligraphy is generally more embellished, its like drawing each letter that's why it’s reserved for special projects, like wedding envelopes,invitations,Restaurants menus, hoarding etc.
