I acquired a couple HO Scale Athearn Blue Box SD40-2s at a train show a while back and wanted to highlight the DCC installation process in the case of a NixTrainz Decoder Buddy and a LokSound 5 decoder. The process is fairly standard for most DCC installs but as always has its own unique details, especially due to the form of the DecoderBuddy 5 board. Due to space constraints, I opted for the use of ESU's dual sugar cube speakers and show the wiring for that. Hope you all enjoy this little how-to and find the info helpful!
