In this part 1 of, well not sure how many parts it will be, I am joined by Fletch and Mike at @westbrooksupplyco7228 to install an Ultralight 1103. We swap out the existing footpegs for a higher positioned set of @innovativesportsman4679 foot control steering set up, install several Harken pulleys and cleats to make the motor lift more effective, put a custom jam cleat mount by Innovative Sportsman on a @YakAttackKayakFishing GT175, utilize some tie down eyelets to route the lift line around where the @AnchorWizardVideos will eventually go, use the prototype @bonafidefish mounting plate, all resulting in a motor with nearly 180 degree rotation that one hand lifts easily and achieves a top speed between 6.4 and 6.5 mph. Be sure to watch the remaining parts, starting with the Dual Anchor Wizard install on part 2.
