Ghosts of Mississippi (1996)- Legally Integrated, Emotionally Segregated

In this segment, Bobby DeLaughter (Alec Baldwin) finds his car has been vandalized while looking for evidence to bring Byron De La Beckwith to trial.  Following this, his father shares his opinion on race relations, saying that, despite it being 1990, people are still emotionally segregated.

It's a cynical outlook, but not incorrect.
