Poaching eggs is simple using the Calphalon Egg Poacher. In this video, Kara, Product Expert for Williams-Sonoma shows us how to use this easy egg poacher.
To begin poaching, Kara adds some water and white vinegar to a Calphalon nonstick casserole and brings it to a simmer. She adds four egg baskets inside the casserole and then a cracked egg into each basket. Once the eggs are ready, she lifts the baskets from the water using the stay-cool handles. The freshly-poached eggs can be easily removed from the egg poacher to a plate and are ready to be served!
An advantage of using this Calphalon egg poacher is that you can use the casserole bottom to cook ham, bacon or any other foods!
