In this tutorial we are going to model a 3d geometry (Book), then we are going to generate map coordinates using UVW unwrap, so that the cover of the book fits the model perfectly, in the second part we are going to setup our scene for a photo-realistic shot.
3ds Max is a great tool to create complex geometries, You can create
various 3d models- it's just your imagination which will bound you- 3ds Max by its virtue is boundless.
In creation of this 3d model of the book, beginner level
is assumed: you should vaguely be familiar with the interface of 3ds Max, just follow along with the clicks, and we will make sure that we come up with a great 3d model of a book!
