💒 دير الشهيد العظيم تادرس الشطبي الأثري - مركز منفلوط، محافظة أسيوط، مصر🇪🇬  

يعتبر من اقدم الاديرة بالمنطقة والتي لم تنال حظ من المعرفة وهو بالقرب من دير مار مينا المعلق بابنوب⛪️.

يمتاز الدير بموقعه الخلاب والمتميز عن كل الأديرة
حيث يقع الدير داخل حضن الجبل ويطل مباشرة على نهر النيل🏞️والذي يوفر تجربة روحية وسياحية فريدة للغاية

يبعد الدير عن مدينة أسيوط ٣٥ كم وبالمثل عن دير المحرق العامر⛪️

ويوفر حديثاً الطريق السريع لمحور منفلوط طريقا سهلاً وسريع للدير مباشرة

يرجع تاريخ انشاء الدير إلي القرن الرابع الميلادي وكانت به حركة رهبانية حتي وقت قريب وسمي الدير باسم الأمير تادرس الشطبي لانه استراح فيه وهو في طريق رحلته الي شطب للقاء والده
وقد زار الدير القديس اثناسيوس الرسولي أثناء هروبه إلى الصعيد...

تم تعمير الدير في عهد المتنيح نيافة الحبر الجليل الأنبا انطونيوس أسقف منفلوط والمتنيح قداسة البابا شنودة الثالث.

وتم الإعتراف بالدير من قبل المجمع المقدس يوم ٧ مارس ٢٠٢٤ م
وأطلق عليه لقب "دير الشطبي العامر "
فى عهد نيافة الأنبا ثاؤفيلس...ادام لنا الرب حياته

يحتوى الدير علي :
⛪️ الكنيسة الأمير تادرس الأثرية :
وهي عبارة عن مغارة منحوتة بالجبل ولها خورسان مفصولين عن بعض بحائط

⛪️ وكنيسة القديس ابانوب:
هي كنيسة صغيرة حديثة تطل مباشرة علي نهر النيل.

⛪️كاتدرائية والدة الاله القديسة العذراء مريم:
فى وسط الدير

⛪️ كنيسة القديس الانباء كاراس السائح:
وهي عبارة عن مغارة كبيرة منحوتة بالجبل تشبه الكنيسة الاثرية.

⛪️ كنيسة الشهيد مارمينا : والتى تطل على نهر النيل فى منظر رائع وخلاب.

ويحتوي الدير أيضًا على مبنى الإقامة الخاص بالدير، وهو فيلا مكونة من أربعة طوابق تحتوي على قاعة كبيرة وغرف للإقامة، بالإضافة إلى مبنى الخلوة ومكتبة الدير ومجمع الدير ومبنى الخدمات وورشة النجارة وورشة الحدادة وورشة البلاط ومزرعة ومنحل ومخبز وبرج حمام🕊.

⛪️ The archaeological Monastery of the Great Martyr Tadros Al-Shatbi in Manfalut district, Assiut(Asyut)Governorate, Egypt 🇪🇬

It is considered one of the oldest monasteries in the region, which did not have a fortune in knowledge.

It is located near the Hanging monasteryof St. Mina ⛪️ which is attached to Babnoub.

The charming and distinguished monastery is located within the embrace of the mountain and directly overlooks the Nile River 🏞️❤️which offers a very unique spiritual and touristic experience.

The monastery is located 35 km away from Asyut city, as well as from Al-Muharraq Monastery⛪️.

Recently the new highway axis of Manfalut  provides an easy and fast route directly to the monastery.

The construction of the monastery dates back to the fourth century AD, and there was a monastic movement until recently.

The monastery was named after Prince Tadros Al-Shatbi because he rested in it while on his way to Shutb to meet his father.
Also the Apostolic St. Ascensius  visited it during his escape to Upper Egypt...

The monastery was rebuilt during the reign of the late His Eminence, Bishop Anthony, Bishop of Manfalut, and the late His Holiness Pope Shenouda III.

The monastery was recognized by the Holy Synod on March 7, 2024, and it was given the title "Al-Shatbi  Monastery " during the papacy of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, and under the episcopate of His Grace Bishop Theophilus... May the Lord preserve their lives.

The monastery contains:

⛪️The archaeological St.prince Tadros, which is a cave carved in the mountain, and the two Khoras are separated from each other by a wall.

⛪️ St. Abanoub Church is a small, modern church that directly.

💒 The Cathedral of the Mother of God  the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the middle of the monetary.

⛪️ St. Anba Karas Church the Tourist:which is a large cave carved into the mountain, similar to the archaeological church.

⛪️ St. Anthony the Great.

⛪️ St. Anba Moses the strong Church.

⛪️ St. Mina Church which overlooks the Nile River which is very impressive and fascinating view.

The monastery also contains the monastery’s accommodation building, which is a four-story villa with a large hall and rooms for accommodation, the khilwa building, the monastery’s library, the monastery complex, a service building , carpentry workshop, iron workshop, a tile workshop, a farm, a bee farm, a bakery and a pigeon 🕊 tower..
