The Finance Minister has defended
The Finance Minister has defended the use of electoral bonds at the India Today Conclave. This comes after the Election Commission of India published data related to electoral bonds on their official website. The Minister questioned the perfection of the previous system and claimed that bonds make party funding transparent. This defence comes amidst the Supreme Court's mandate to the State Bank of India to share its electoral bonds data with the Election Commission, which was subsequently published on the Commission's website.
