Volvo D13 no crank no start/ Bad ECM replacement

D13 engine died while the truck was driven , after driver wasn't able to start it! Inspected all the wires that goes to the batteries to the starter and to the alternator, everything was fine , tryed to bypass the starter, it was cranking the engine but still no start, after inspected all fuses, fuse FE 4 were blown, (ignition fuse in the box in front of cabin, replaced it still no start, after removed the upper wiring conector from ecm everything was fine, tryed to remove the Lower one and something was holding it! Tried to pull harder and it came out with one melted pin, plastic around that pin on ecm was also melted on the conector everything fine! Is a probability that was a short inside the ecm olson that was a short somewhere on the wiring harness, replaced the ecm from another one from another truck , and it started , everything is fine!!! Did anybody had something similar?
