Can-Am Ryker LED Lights Installation
Below you’ll find the recommended steps for installation. If you installed your kit differently or have any installation tips, let us know by posting in the comments below. You can also contact us via email, social media, or through www.ledunderbody.com. Before getting started, test these Can-Am Ryker lights for full functionality using a 12-volt power source:

1. To gain access to the designated mounting locations, remove the battery compartment
cover, headlight covers, steering column cover, intake vent covers, and the lower side
body panels.

2. We recommend cleaning each mounting location with an alcohol prep pad. Once the
locations are cleaned, and apply the included adhesion promoter to the locations.

3. Once the adhesion promoter has fully dried, remove the red tape cover from each light
strip and attach them to each mounting location.

4. We recommend using zip ties for additional security on any light strips that are attached
to the frame.

5. Once all of the lighting strips are mounted, starting with the rear strips, run the wires to
one side of the bike. Be sure to keep them clear of any hot or moving parts.

6. Plug each strip into the 4pc add-on harness and secure the wires using zip ties. Do not
overtighten the zip ties when securing the wires as it could splice open the wires which
will void all warranties.

7. Then, use another add-on harness to connect the headlight strip wire and the wires from
the strips on the sides.

8. Run the single side of the harnesses to the engine bay, securing it away from any
moving parts.

9. Repeat this process for the other side of the bike.

10. To mount the control box, use an alcohol prep pad to clean a flat surface inside the
engine bay.

11. Remove the red tape cover and place the control box onto the cleaned location.

12. Attach a ring terminal connector to the red and black wires from the control box.

13. Then, connect the red wire to the positive battery terminal, and connect the black wire to
the negative battery terminal.

14. Using the remote, test the kit for functionality.

15. This particular kit comes with a brake light feature that, when enabled, will turn all of the
lights on the bike red when the brake is pressed. It will turn back to the selected color when the brake is released.

16. To enable the brake light feature, use a test light to locate the white brake light wire inside the wiring harness on the left side of the bike.

17. Extend the blue wire from the control box using 18 gauge automotive wire and a wire connector.
