Old Fashioned Cinnamon Candy

2 cups White Sugar
3/4 cup cold Water
2/3 Light Corn Syrup
Food Coloring
1 Bottle LorAnn Oil
Powder Sugar for dusting

Grease a 15 x10 x 1" baking sheet with some non stick spray and set aside.

In a large saucepan, add the sugar, water and the syrup and mix well. Attach a candy thermometer to the side of the saucepan .

over a medium heat stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.

Once the sugar has dissolved STOP STIRRING and let the mixture come to a boil. Let it boil until the temperature reaches 250 degrees F. Add in the food coloring how much you add will determine how dark your candy will be.
Do not stir it when you add it in the boiling will spread it around.

When the mixture comes to 300 degrees F, remove from stove and wait till it has stopped boiling then add in the flavor oil and stir gently  the mixture will bubble up
Now pour the mixture onto your prepared pan.

When it has cooled you can break it into small pieces and put the pieces into a bowl and put some powdered sugar in it and give them a toss in it and then your done. Store in a Ziploc bag or a bowl with a lid.
