These are the top index funds from Vanguard that you can buy and hold forever to help you reach Financial Independence sooner. 100% of my investment portfolio is loaded up with ETF index funds just like these because they're simple, reliable, and can easily double, triple, or even quadruple in price if you hold them for long periods of time.
I always suggest buying and holding these ETFs for as long as possible because the stock market is very volatile in the short term.
