If you are new or
If you are new or a seasoned fly tier, the Copper Top Streamer is an articulated fly which has proven itself time and time again for trout, smallmouth bass, walleye and even carp! One look at the fly when it's wet helps you understand why. The size, blending of materials, articulation and weight at the front all make this fly come to life in the water! The key is to minimize materials, give the illusion of transparency and progressively build the taper. In this video, I will walk you through material preparation, and then teach you how tie this life-like pattern.
