Due to the record-breaking heavy rains, Gangnam area flooded with water. I walked from Sinnonhyeon to Nonhyeon Station, Yeongdong Market, and Gangnam Station. We need to clean up the drainage facilities once again so that this will not happen again.

The metropolitan area has been flooded all over the place due to record heavy rains. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, 100 ~ 300mm heavy rains were poured into the metropolitan area and Gangwon area such as Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi on the 8th.
Gangnam -gu, Seoul, was 116 mm for an hour until 9:34 pm. Sindaebang -dong, Dongjak -gu, Seoul, recorded 380 mm of precipitation until 11 pm. It was a record that surpassed 354.7mm (official observation station Songwol -dong) on August 2, 1920, which is the highest precipitation of Seoul.
Meanwhile, Gangnam Station is a representative habitual flooding area in Seoul. The Gangnam area has been damaged by heavy rains in September 2010 and September 2011.
