લોક સાહિત્યનું શિરમોર સમું ગીત એટલે પદ્મશ્રી કવિ કાગ બાપુએ લખેલું રંગ મોરલા. વર્ષા ઋતુમાં ઘેરાયેલા કાળા ડિબાંગ વાદળો આવનારા અનરાધાર વરસાદનાં એંધાણ આપી રહ્યા હોય, યુવાન સ્ત્રીનાં વલોવાતા મનની વાત રંગ મોરલામાં થાય છે. પ્રિયતમ પરદેશ જશે તો ઘણાં લાંબા સમય સુધી તેનો સહવાસ અશક્ય બનવાનો છે. આવા સમયે પ્રેમિકા તેના પિયુને રિઝવવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરે છે કે બે ઘડી તો મારી સાથે રોકાઈ જાઓ, મારી સાથે સમય વિતાવો.
આભ, વાદળ, વીજળી, વન, ડુંગર, નદી બધું જ ઋુતુમય થયેલ છે તો આપણે કેમ નઈ નો ભાવ આ સુંદર ગીતમાં ઝીલાયો છે.
