Mohamed Atta's "martyrdom" video.

This video was discovered on a VHS tape found by the US army after a raid on an Al Qaeda facility on December 2001. It wasn't publicly released until 2006. It features the piloting, lead hijackers of American Airlines flight 11 and United Airlines flight 93, Mohamed Atta and Ziad Jarrah, respectively, writing, signing and reading their testaments and last wills in front of the camera, so, giving both of them the welcome to the "martyrdom" status in Islam, as they're accepting their fate as jihad soldiers.

They talk to each other and even laugh at some point. As part of the September 11th terrorist attacks, Atta piloted and deliberately crashed flight 11 on the North Tower of the World Trade Center and it is thought that Jarrah piloted and meant to crash flight 93 on the White House or the Capitol building, but failed to accomplish his target, and it crashed on an open field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. It is strongly suspected this happened because the passengers on flight 93 started a revolt an tried to subdue the hijackers and retrieve control of the plane, based on the last transmissions between the cockpit and the control tower.

The footage has no sound, and it was recorded on January 18th, 2000, more than one year before the attacks. The US governmentt tried to read the lips of all the people featured in it, but they didn't understand anything whatsoever.

I upload this video to YouTube so everyone can see this material more easily, because, for some reason, it is real hard to find on the internet and is nowhere to be found on YouTube at all. I myself went through a hard time finding it, asking on the r/911archive subreddit and finally finding it uploaded on the Internet Archive thanks to the comment of a fellow redditor (u/josesek) on my post (sorry, I didn't know how to use the Internet Archive back then, LOL)

I just hope YouTube doesn't erase this video or straight up take down my channel or something... I think this could happen because I sincerely believe maybe there's the possibility someone had already tried to upload this material to YouTube before, but it didn't last long online because YouTube considers it as "controversial" and/or "inappropiate" material, or something like that... Let's cross fingers.
