Chicken egg candling! Looking at all the growth for baby chicks

Rod Ridge Farm started incubating chicken eggs on March 8th in the new incubator, and now it is time to candle them. Today is day 5 of 21 of the eggs being in the incubator. The lighter colored eggs are much easier to see any growth will the olive green ones are too dark. The first candling went well, and there looks to be a lot of growth going on.
