يرسُم فرَحْ عَ وْشوشْ
مِ الهَمّ بِتعاني
Ramaḍān is a month loved
By the hearts, like no other month
It draws smiles on the faces
Of those afflicted by hardships
يِبقى الهَنا فْ بِيتنا
تِتلَمّ عيلِتنا
وناس اللي فارقِتنا
ترجعلِنا تاني
Our homes are filled with grace
Our families huddle together
And those who parted with us
Come back again
رمضانْ نسيمُه عليلْ
نور وهُدى ورَحمَةْ
والسِّرّ في التّفاصيل
بالعيلة واللّمَّةْ
Ramaḍān, its breeze is refreshing
Illumination, guidance and mercy
Its virtues are unique
With union of families and gatherings
لِيلُه نَهار بالنّورْ
والحُبِّ فيه بيدورْ
دا مْنِ الفُطورْ لِ سْحورْ
يِحلى مع اللّمَّةْ
Its illuminating nights are like days
With love spreading across
From the time of fast-breaking to the pre-dawn meal
It is adorned by good company
نمشي في حِتِّتنا
نتهنّى بالزّينَةْ
وافراحْ مآذِنّا
قُرءانْ يِداوينا
We walk in our streets
Rejoice at the decorations
The joy emerges from our mosques
With healing Qur’ānic recitation
زَحمَةْ شِمالْ وِيْمينْ
مِ النّاس الطيّبينْ
ايدهُمْ مَع المساكينْ
رَحمَةْ تداوينا
Crowds, left and right
People of good nature
Helping the poor
Mercies that heal [the hearts]
اعطِفْ على المحتاجْ
و ادّي بِدونْ مِنَّةْ
فْ دُنياكْ أمانْ وِعْلاجْ
وْحَسَناتْ فِ ميزاننا/ ونعيم في الجنّة
Be kind to the needy
Give, without reminders of your generosity
This shall result in safety and relief in your life
As well as rewards in the scale and enjoyments in Paradise
