To get 2022 started, I thought we'd look at something different.
In this episode of Flying Failures, we look back on the Dassault Mirage IIIV and Balzac V, two experimental VTOL fighter jets which did achieve some fame in that they remain the fastest VTOL aircraft ever to fly, but were eventually crippled due to a variety of practical and design flaws which ruined their potential service careers.
