David H. Fleay was one of the greatest Australian zoologists of the last century. He once visited the Hobart Zoo in Tasmania to see Benjamin, the last remaining Tasmanian tiger. As a renowned scientist, he was allowed to get up close to the animal and made the longest recording of a live Tasmanian tiger in history.
