This is a playthrough using Blodia (2nd unused character) in the Arcade version of Star Gladiator. Read on below for more information...

Blodia is an unused character (2 out of 3) in the game, which obviously means that he is an unplayable character.

In this playthrough, as a bonus I have included a fight against CPU Super Bilstein at the end. You can see it starting around 12:32 in the video.

===== ABOUT BLODIA =====

---- Going by the name, this character is probably meant to be based on a Blodia mech from other Capcom games... but it doesn't look anything like it.

---- Instead, his design is clearly based on the MS-09R Rick Dom mobile suit from Gundam.

---- Graphically-wise, he is clearly in a "beta" state, meaning that he lacks textures/detail.

---- The vast majority of his stances, movements, animations and strikes are based on Gamof's.

---- His throw is the same as Gamof's one.

---- His weapon looks to be a thin lightsaber.

---- When striking, his weapon lacks light trails. It uses the correct lightsaber sounds though.

---- He seems to have most, if not all of Gamof's moveset.

---- On the character select screen, he uses Saturn's image portraits.

---- He uses the name Saturn everywhere besides the 2-player versus screen image banner.

---- On the 2-player match versus screen, his banner has the name "BLODIA" on it, with no image behind it.

---- He does not have a voice in active gameplay; but he does have a voice for his winning poses, and this voice seems to be unique... it sounds a bit like Gore's voice though.

---- Both his costumes are the one we see in the video.

---- If you reach and beat Super Bilstein with him, you get an image of Hayato as his true ending. You can actually skip this and the game progresses as normal. You can see this starting around 14:01 in this video.

===== ABOUT STAR GLADIATOR =====

The game is basically a futuristic weapons fighter, largely inspired by the Star Wars franchise. The fighting system and mechanics is very typical of a Capcom fighting game... it's a bit like a flexible Street Fighter with weapons and "dial-a-combos". The character roster is certainly diverse, with robots, mechs, monsters and creatures as well as humans.
