Everything about Superman's costume is iconic. The long flowing cape, the tight blue spandex, the bold S insignia on his chest, and even the fact that the Man of Steel doesn't wear a mask. The design has a hidden meaning that helps to shape the identity Superman. Displaying his Kryptonian heritage with the House of El crest on his chest, providing reassurance to fellow heroes with his bright red cape, and refusing to wear a mask which helps create trust with him and the citizens of Metropolis. The only mask Superman wears is his famous glasses as Clark Kent. And all these design elements come together to deliver the most recognizable superhero DC Comics ever created!
