But we had a brilliant brain fart and thought "Aha! Why not make one?" so that is the story of how we made this beloved Malaysian snack from sourdough starter and the results were awesome! It was lighter on the tummy and instantly healthier.
Rotiboy is a small bakery located in Malaysia that popularized stuffing a bun with butter and giving it a very crispy coffee flavored crust, it became hilariously popular, and since then, the trend took a life of its own.
