After having Cloud full of water once, it's time to start breaking out all the stops to make sure that never happens again. In this episode we share step by step how to install a bilge pump tied to a high water alarm, specifically in a deep sailboat bilge like ours!
Chris has always had a little PTSD from his disastrous crossing from Bermuda and watching Cloud ALMOST sink (see link below). Even safe in our slip, he would sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and check to make water wasn't coming in somewhere. Now we'll have so much peace of mind knowing we have a system in place that will alert us if something is going wrong!
