Let's watch Saturday morning cartoons on the channel dedicated to kids* like you. No, no, not Nickelodeon. This channel plays cartoons non-stop. No, no, not Cartoon Network. This channel plays Disney stuff. No, no, not the Disney Channel. No, look, it's Toon Disney, alright? We're going to watch Saturday morning cartoons on Toon Disney.
*And by "kids" I mean nostalgic adults, YouTube.
This is a compilation video I put together using footage of commercials and episodes from shows that played on Saturday mornings (from 6 in the morning to 11) on Toon Disney in the early 2000's. It is loosely based off schedules from the year 2004 for Toon Disney Saturday mornings (with inspiration also coming from the years 2003 and 2002). Certain shows (like Donald's Quack Attack, Timon & Pumbaa, Aladdin, and Disney's Hercules: The Animated Series to name a few) can't be used for copyright reasons. These shows were substituted with other great cartoons and shows that played on Toon Disney around the same time. Think of it as a retro remix or a bootleg Saturday morning broadcast.
This is the thirtieth Saturday morning cartoon compilation video I've uploaded (the big three oh), and the eighth video on a cable television network. This video began its life as a Disney Channel video. However, when I started researching Disney Channel, I decided I didn't want to do it. This is because, as a premium channel, it had very few commercials, which sort of defeats the purpose of a video. Then, when it finally made the switch to basic cable, its morning schedules were dominated by Playhouse Disney stuff, which are for very little children, and I don't think that'd be good for an entire video. That's when I remembered Toon Disney, and when I saw Toad Patrol on a lineup -- a show that I watched a ton of but hadn't thought of in over a decade -- I knew I had to do it. Finding usable episodes of both Rescue Rangers and DuckTales only confirmed I had made the right choice. Well, anyhow, I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I did putting it together.
