The Japanese battleship Mikasa was a pre-dreadnought battleship built for the Imperial Japanese Navy in the late 19th century. It was the flagship of Admiral Togo Heihachiro during the Russo-Japanese War and played a key role in the Battle of Tsushima in 1905, where it helped secure the Japanese victory.

The Mikasa was equipped with four 12-inch guns and had a top speed of 18 knots. It was one of the most modern battleships of its time and was renowned for its durability and fighting ability. After the war, it served as a training ship and was eventually preserved as a museum ship in Yokosuka, Japan. The Mikasa is now a popular tourist attraction and is considered one of the best-preserved battleships from the early 20th century.
