How Big Is Too Big

My answer to that is that it is really dependent on the patient themselves. What I can say is that I try to size the patient as far as what fits the patient's body. I also have the patient who is receiving the implants actually pick some implants out by sizing a picture of the size of the breast to the size of the body that it's on. They actually show me that. So it's not actually their body its someone else's picture that actually helps me understand how large they want to go. So that helps me with sizing. As far as being too big I'm going to say that I also do breast reductions. And from listening to the symptoms of patients that have too large of breasts. It really can be a big issue. And the big issue is neck pain, shoulder pain and all the other symptoms that go with too large of breasts. So I do explain that to patients. Making sure that I don't feel like they're going over or as far as the size of these implants. As far as the sizing I look at height, shoulder, waist, hips. I look at base diameter of the breast. I look at how much breast tissue they already have. So between all the discussions and the pictures shown.
