Exmouth is a port town,
Exmouth is a port town, civil parish and seaside resort, sited on the east bank of the mouth of the River Exe and 11 miles southeast of Exeter. The bustling two kilometres of beachfront are well worth visiting on any trip to Exmouth. As well as the golden sandy beach, you've got pedalo boats, amusement arcades and kids' playgrounds, and plenty of beachside pubs, restaurants, bars, and ice cream stalls.
The Exmouth coastline offers a number of beautiful sandy beaches and the Town Beach is the most accessible and closest to the town centre. The beach is a safe place to swim, especially at high tide even with children. Drive your four wheel drive right down onto the beach and set up for a fun day out.
