Precious Honey Colored Opal from Boi Morto Mine, Brazil 45.6 ct - old stock

This is a fantastic 45.6 ct old specimen (1960's) of precious opal from the Boi Morto Mine in Brazil. This is some of the most stable opal in the world. This specimen has a slight coating of nail polish which can easily be removed. This was likely done just to show how it would look polished.
Brazilian opals are highly prized not only for their rarity but also for their stability and beauty.
