Masala Maggi is a popular
instant noodle variety in India, known for its spicy and flavorful seasoning. To prepare Masala Maggi:
Ingredients:
- 2packet of Maggi noodles
- 3cups of water
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 large tomatoes finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of green peas
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
- 1/2 inch of chopped ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon of oil
Instructions:
1. *Heat oil* in a pan. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
2. Add the ginger paste and green chili (if using), and sauté for another minute.
3. Add the chopped tomatoes and green peas and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
4. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder and 2 tastemakers that comes inside the maggi. Stir well and cook for a couple of minutes.
6. Pour in 3 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
7. Once the water starts boiling, add the Maggi noodles.
8. Cook for 2 minutes or until the noodles are cooked. Drain them.
9. Drop the boiled noodles to the masala and serve hot.
