Do we still need to do Wi-Fi channel planning?

Channel planning is no longer needed. Today's Wi-Fi design applications should be doing it automatically for us. But as operators, we rely on automatic channel selection. Those algorithms are improving which allows Wi-Fi designers to focus on more important aspects of design.
