In this video, we'll visit the bustling Beijing road shopping district, an outstanding pedestrian street & popular shopping area located in the Yuexiu District of the tier 1 city of Guangzhou (Canton).
Beijing Road is one of the longest shopping streets in the city, measuring in at a total of 1500 meters (1640 yds). This long street also has a very long history, exhibiting plenty of old Chinese & Western architecture including qilou (騎樓) & tang lou (唐樓) type shophouses as well as the historical ruins of an ancient road located right underneath the modern one.

北京路是中国广东省广州市越秀区一条集文化、娱乐、商业于一体的街道，是广州市有史以来最繁华的商业中心，日均人流量约35万人次。北京路北起广卫路，南到沿江中路，全长1,500多米。
