Are combination locks secure? Finding a secure combination padlock in 2023 is a bit of a challenge. Combination locks have always had security flaws that allowed for the combination to be bypassed or found There are some that were better than others and those were the one's we recommended to people needing a combination padlock.
But our previous recommended combination padlock was recently hacked and a design flaw was revealed. This sent us on a search for a new best combination padlock and we found the ABUS 190cs /60. If it weren't for the 10,000 code limit, it could actually be the best padlock available today.
The ABUS 190cs/60 is a new version of an older style of combination padlock from ABUS. It is a heavy duty padlock. The new version (series 2) corrects all of the past design flaws and has included some security features that far and away make it the best combination padlock available. The 190cs is a secure padlock that would stand up to almost any keyed padlock available today.
