Introducing the Overlander Association of India, a community of like-minded adventurers who share a passion for overland travel and exploration. Our association brings together overlanders who are dedicated to promoting responsible and sustainable travel and sharing their knowledge and experiences with others.
Our members are passionate about exploring the great outdoors and have a deep respect for the environment and the communities they encounter on their journeys. We believe that overland travel is a unique and rewarding way to experience the world, and our association is dedicated to supporting and promoting this style of travel.
Our mission is to promote adventurous and sustainable exploration through overlanding, nurture a community of like-minded individuals, provide resources and support for responsible travel, and encourage a lifestyle that respects the environment.
To bring together the community of passionate and adventurous travellers and aim at promoting responsible, safe, secure, and sustainable Overlanding.
Our Value Proposition is focused on the following :
Knowledge Sharing:
We will provide a comprehensive platform for overlanders to learn and share their experiences, fostering a vibrant community of like-minded individuals passionate about overlanding.
Education and Awareness:
We aim to educate enthusiasts about sustainable overlanding practices, offering guidance on gear selection, vehicle modifications, camping locations, and regulatory restrictions.
Advocacy and Legal Framework:
We will actively engage with regulatory authorities to address concerns, promote understanding, and work towards the establishment of a legal framework that supports responsible overlanding.
Vendor Collaboration:
We will create a common platform for vendors dealing with overlanding gears, facilitating easier access to quality products and services for our members.
Networking and Events:
We will organize regular meets and an annual gathering at various locations across India, providing opportunities for members to network, exchange ideas, and further their overlanding journeys.
