If you have almonds and puff pastry, make this famous French dessert. Galette des Rois.
A king cake, also known as a three kings cake.
I made a little bit different, you can make like the original round shape and put one almond inside the cake.
Ingredients:
2 eggs.
140g ground almonds (1 1/2 cups).
100g sugar (1/2 cup).
75g/2.6 ounces butter, room temperature.
1 puff pastry.
1 egg yolk for brush.
Bake 180°C/350°F for 30 minutes.
