I was really excited to stumble across this Punyo Cooking Pot while browsing Amazon Japan! This has gone viral on many Korea channels with people making custom tiny foods. I made quite a number of videos on this method but newer subscribers might have missed those. The technique is called spherification and originally used in fine dining to create unusual food textures. It then became widespread through popping boba and also found in various DIY candy kits or craft sets. It basically involves a chemical reaction between calcium chloride (or in rarer cases calcium lactate) and sodium alginate.
