AEROSPACE FILTON

Just outside Bristol in the west of England is Filton home to Concorde and other aircraft built there. The day was miserable so it was a good time to visit this museum, also there was a talk from a member of staff about the Bristol Brabazon the luxury airliner with onboard cinema, cocktail bar, and luxurious lounge celebrating 75 years. Unfortunately, I could not film this talk due to batteries being low but it was interesting to know that the Brabazon development was later to be used in the build of Concorde at Filton. Most of the exhibition is dedicated to everything made, designed, and flown from Filton Airport but as with most things nowadays a large part of Filton has been turned into housing developments.
