Australia’s offshore wind powers ahead

Australia boasts the sixth largest offshore wind technical resource potential in the world, and is attracting international attention as a significant emerging market for offshore wind development. Tens of multi-gigawatt projects are now in early stage planning. This session will provide an overview of Australia’s substantial offshore wind potential, give a snapshot of government ambitions and activities to support industry development, and explore the drawcards that are driving investor interest in this emerging market.
